My Bullet Journal journey (Part One)

I have heard so much about Bullet Journaling (BUJI for short) in the recent months, and it now got me curious.
Don't get me wrong, I read about Bullet Journal years ago, I tried it, but it didn't work out for me.
But I do pick up some pointers that helped me with my current system (planning and tasking).

If you have not heard about BUJO, or you will like to revisit it (just like me), here's a video for you

The set up of my Camel Traveler's Notebook.

If you own a Traveler's Notebook, at some point of time, you will be curious on how other users set up their TNs, how they use their TNs, where they buy this, where they buy that, etc, etc.
It is COMMON.

Being a Traveler's Notebook user for the past 9 years, I am still curious about other user's TN.
I am always curious how they use their TNs, and how they do the set up.

Personally, I carry 3 TNs everyday, and each of them serve different purposes.

Question: Why do you carry so many Traveler's Notebook?

Soon, you will find out.

For now, let me share about my Camel Traveler's Notebook.

Travel Journal for Japan 2017 (Part 2)

Hello again!!

I hope you had enjoy my previous post, Travel Journal for Japan (Part 1).
And thank you for your positive comments and encouragements.

For this installment, I will share the second notebook, or Travel Journal, for my Japan Trip.
For this trip, I used the "Have A Nice Trip" notebooks which I bought from Traveler's Factory at Narita Airport Terminal 2. I bought 3 of this notebook for my Travel Journal, and ended up using two. It is always good to prepare more than less.
If you have any questions regarding my Travel Journal, do drop me a message using the message box function on the Right hand side, and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.

Enjoy.......

Inside My Camel Traveler's Notebook

My Camel Traveler's Notebook is my current new Every Day Carry.

For this Traveler's Notebook, I want to keep it as simple and as thin as possible, so that it will be easy for me to carry it around.
But at the same time, I want to be able to the most out of this TN.

Requirements:
1. A planner that allows me to write down my schedules, and also, a space where I can draw, doodle and write quotes.
2. A notebook for Brain Dump and important reads.
3. A pouch to store my accessories.
4. A pen loop that will not obstruct when I write.
5. Card slots.

So far, I guess the Setup has met all the requirements.

What's in my Traveler's Notebook:
- 019 Free Diary;
- 003 Blank Note;
- Advanced Zipper pouch
- Sakura Pigma Micron Pen size 03

Unboxing my Traveler's Notebook Camel edition

By now, many Traveler's Notebook users have all gotten their Camel edition.

I have received mine in mid-May 2016, although many users received theirs in late April 2016 or early May 2016.

Initiately, I have no idea what use do I have for this Camel edition, and I decided to make it my planner. Another planner despite my many unused planner on my study table.

Here's some of the photos taken during the unboxing:

Long Long Time Ago...

Long Long Time Ago... I started my first Midori Traveler's Notebook.
And ever since, there's no turning back.

Got my Regular Brown Traveler's Notebook back in year 2008.
I have seen many photos about this notebook, and I made up my mind to get one for myself.
I remembered I had to save up for months just to own this piece of jewel.

It has been a good investment - just because I am still using it till this date.

Over the years, the collection just expand.

It was a hard decision to get my 2nd Midori Traveler's Notebook - the black passport TN - because of the price. And after few months of saving, I finally got one.

Over the years, I have been switching in and out of notebooks, but I still very much prefer what Traveler's Notebook can offer.

The collection will continue to expand - from notebooks to accessories.
And I am definitely proud of my collection.

Traveler's Notebook Blue Edition

# Travelerscompany #blue edition

The time has come when I needed another Traveler's Notebook!!!

While journaling in my Brain Pocket Traveler's Notebook, I realised that it's too thick it is difficult to write in. So I broke away my Personal Journal insert and transfer to the new Blue Edition.

#everydaynotebook #EDNB

So today, let me share about my Every Day Notebook, one that I carry on a daily basis.
This is part of my EDC - Every Day Carry.

Drawstring bag from Lowland Originals.

As I mentioned in the previous post that I need a protection for my Traveler's Notebook, and at the same time, I happened to chance upon some lovely handmade drawstring bags on a Facebook group. I decided to give in to my temptation, and to get myself 2 drawstring bags, not knowing what to expect.

I contacted Reene Luitjes from Lowland Originals, and asked if she has anything suitable for guys. She replied to my message real quick, and within a few days, she showed me these pictures:

Time to reorganise my Traveler's Notebooks.

There are too much temptation when it comes to different Traveler's Notebook.

I can never make up my mind which one is the best for me; and so, I decided to use whatever TN that interest me.

So now, I am using 3 different TNs.

Brain Pocket - Regular Size Traveler's Notebook

My people has been asking me this question:
"What's inside your Regular size Traveler's Notebooks?"

So, I decided to do a post about my Tan / Cream color Regular size Traveler's Notebook, the Brain Pocket.

Brain Pocket was customized by a lady crafter from Japan.
I had this Traveler's Notebook since 2010 (shortly after I purchased my Midori Regular Size TN).
I was attracted by the color of the leather, and the opportunity to choose the button I wanted to be on the leather.
I have been safe keeping it and only decided to use in this year (2014).

My Creme Brûlée 2015 Planner.

Year 2015 is not far away (81 days left as of 13 Oct 2014) and my planner shopping came early this year.

I was planning to get Midori passport size 2015 planner, both the weekly and monthly, but the price has always been a concern.

My Collections of Traveler's Notebook.

Not sure if you know, but I started my first Midori Traveler's Notebook back in Year 2008.
Back then, traveler's notebook like this (leather cover with interchangeable notebooks) was not as popular today.

As I remembered, there aren't many people using Midori Traveler's Notebook back then.
Searching for inspiration on how to enhance my Traveler's notebook can only be done on Flickr.

In the recent years, I have more exposure to other traveler's notebook through the Facebook / Instagram. From there, I realized that I can get a customized Traveler's notebook in other colors
I can also get a leather cover that holds different types of inserts, particularly, Field Notes size.

My collections for FN size (3.5" x 5.5') fauxdori expanded with the opening of Blank and Write Shop

Let's see, what I have in my collections:
